Banfi Rosa Regale Sparkling White
Stunning presentation in the bottle and effortlessly elegant in the glass with abundant aromatics and a sophisticated sweetness that could be none other than Rosa Regale.
VARIETAL: 100% Moscato Bianco
VINEYARDS: Provincia di Asti, Piedmont, Italy Soil: silty-calcareous soil with grey and light blue tufaceous marlstone.
WINEMAKING: The hand-picked grapes are destemmed, crushed and softly pressed. The must is then cooled to 41° F and left to decant overnight in stainless-steel tanks, then filtered and stored at 32° F. It is then placed in an autoclave, heated to 61°F. Selected yeasts are added to start a temperature-controlled fermentation, until approximately 7.0 alcoholic degrees and 5.5 bars of pressure are obtained. The fermentation stops by lowering the temperature to 32°F and immediate filtration follows.

Banfi Rosa Regale Sparkling Red
A classic Banfi Piemonte wine from 100% Brachetto d’Acqui, an aromatic, ancient, and complex grape typical of the area. Sweet and sparkling with a lively and persistent perlage from the Charmat method.
A well-made wine striking the elegant balance of sweetness and acidity. Cold maceration of the grapes, followed by a soft pressing for gentle extraction gives the wine its characteristic color and complexity. Secondary fermentation in stainless steel is where the wine achieves its sweetness and sparkling character.

VINEYARDS: The vineyard, which gets optimum midday exposure, is located in Acqui Terme, Piedmont, Italy. The grapes are grown in rocky, calcareous soil with tufaceous marl.
WINEMAKING: Fermentation with brief contact with the skins, filtration and storage at 32°F. Refermentation in stainless-steel vats, immediately followed by bottling.
