In 2005 bartender Sam Ross created the contemporary Scotch cocktail The Penicillin, using Compass Box whiskies. Today, we want as many people as possible to try it - that's why we've developed our very own Honey-Ginger Syrup, which takes the hard work out of creating the perfect Penicillin.
Typically requiring hours of juicing, blending and infusing to create, Honey-Ginger Syrup is the key ingredient in the classic Penicillin. Our recipe is true to Sam Ross' original and takes the labor out of this delicious cocktail. Each bottle contains half of a pound of organic Peruvian ginger, New Hampshire clover honey, water and cane sugar.
