Efe Klasik Raki is a premium Turkish anise spirit — Turkey's beloved national drink — crafted by the Efe Distillery using a combination of grape brandy distilled from Turkish sultana grapes and aniseed oil sourced from selected anise plants. Following a tradition dating back centuries, Efe Raki is made by blending the grape distillate with aniseed, double-distilling in copper pot stills, and resting the spirit before bottling. The palate delivers bold, fresh aniseed, grape sweetness, fennel, and a warming, aromatic finish. Raki turns milky white when mixed with water — a characteristic known as 'lion's milk.' Traditionally served with water and ice alongside meze. Bottled at 45% ABV, 750ML.
