Jean-Paul Brun Beaujolais Rouge is a naturally made, terroir-driven red wine from one of Beaujolais' most respected and innovative producers. Jean-Paul Brun of Domaine des Terres Dorées crafts wines with minimal intervention, using traditional winemaking techniques to express the true character of the Gamay grape and the golden-stone soils of his estate.
Vibrant ruby-red in color with purple highlights, this Beaujolais delivers an expressive, joyful nose of fresh raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, and violet, with subtle earthy undertones and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with lively acidity, silky tannins, and a pure, fruit-forward character that makes it incredibly easy and pleasurable to drink.
Best served slightly chilled. Pairs beautifully with charcuterie, grilled poultry, Lyonnaise cuisine, and light bistro fare.
