Lecompte 18 Year Calvados is an exceptional, long-aged apple brandy from the Calvados Domfrontais appellation of Normandy, France. Produced by Calvados Lecompte using traditional copper pot stills and a blend of cider apple and perry pear varieties grown in the lush orchards of the Orne département, this 18-year expression has been matured for nearly two decades in Limousin oak barrels, developing extraordinary complexity and depth. The palate reveals concentrated baked apple, quince, dried apricot, warm vanilla, cinnamon, toasted oak, and a magnificent, lingering finish.
