Old Pulteney 12 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the flagship expression from the Old Pulteney Distillery in Wick, Caithness — the most northerly mainland distillery in Scotland. Nicknamed 'The Maritime Malt,' Old Pulteney is deeply influenced by the wild North Sea winds and coastal environment that surrounds the distillery. The 12 Year expression is matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and delivers a distinctive coastal character: fresh sea salt, maritime brine, honey, dried fruit, vanilla, and a long, warm, smooth finish with a gentle sweetness.
