Description
Santi "Ventale" Valpolicella Superiore DOC
Ruby red in color with purple tinges, this Italian red blend comes from Valpolicella and is made with indigenous Italian grapes (Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella). It has a fragrant and intense aroma with hints of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, and green pepper, followed by hints of cocoa and dried fruit. On the palate, its vibrant juiciness is accompanied by velvety tannins. It has a lingering and tangy aftertaste.
Santi Solane Ripasso
Santi Solane Ripasso grapes are hand-picked in late September and placed in crates for immediate dispatch to the cellar. This wine goes through a second fermentation using partially dried Amarone whole berries and pomace, using a skilfully updated old technique called RIPASSO that confers elegant, fruity aromas, velvety tannins, power, and personality. Santi Solane Ripasso is aged for 18 months in oak.
Santi Solane Ripasso is a very terroir-true wine with great character and personality. It has an attractive deep bright ruby hue and a clean, complex nose with concentrated notes of fresh berries and morello cherries with some Vanilla hints. On the palate, it is warm, direct, and balanced, with an elegant spicy finish offering almonds notes. It has a strong personality thanks to its exceptionally elegant, sophisticated nose and its long, lingering, full-bodied palate. An excellent early drinker, it only improves with time.

Santi "Santico" Amarone Della Valpolicella DOCG 2014
Only the ripest recie (ears) of the grape clusters are harvested when full ripeness is achieved in late October. Immediately following harvest the clusters are dried under shelter in flat wood crates until late January of the following year, greatly increasing natural sugar content and concentration. The dried grapes produce a powerful wine with marvelous flavor which is aged up to three years in Allier and Slovenian oak casks prior to release.
Santi "Proemio" Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2012
Proemio is a blend of Corvina, Corvinone and a small amount of Rondinella. Harvest begins by hand in late September, as the team meticulously harvests only the best of the vineyard's fruit typically amounting to only 10% of the vineyard yield.
The grapes are placed in wooden boxes and left to dry in controlled humidity until February of the following year. After pressing, the traditional maceration takes place over a period of more than three weeks, which is followed by up to 3 years of aging in the cellars.
