Crafted using the traditional appassimento method — where hand-harvested Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta grapes are dried for up to four months before fermentation — Allegrini's Amarone achieves extraordinary concentration, power, and complexity that defines this great Veneto DOCG.

Deep ruby-garnet in color with violet reflections, the 2019 opens with a rich, complex bouquet of dried cherry, dark plum, chocolate, tobacco, espresso, and sweet spice, with an earthy Mediterranean herb undertone. On the palate, it is full-bodied and commanding, with velvety tannins, remarkable concentration, and a finish of exceptional length and nobility that promises decades of cellaring potential.
