Fontevecchia Veridcchio
Fontevecchia Verdicchio is an authentic Italian white wine crafted from the Verdicchio grape — one of central Italy's most distinctive and food-friendly native white varieties, grown in the Marche region on the Adriatic coast. Verdicchio is named for its characteristic slight greenish hue and is celebrated for producing wines of refreshing crispness, delicate bitterness, and intense mineral character uniquely suited to the fresh seafood of the Adriatic. This wine presents a pale straw-green color with an expressive nose of green apple, lemon, white almond, and a characteristic hint of fresh herbs and bitter almond. On the palate, it is dry, light-to-medium-bodied, and refreshingly crisp with vibrant natural acidity, a pleasantly subtle bitter note on the finish, and a clean, lingering mineral character. Excellent with seafood, light pasta, and Italian antipasto.
