Deep purple-red in color with a violet-tinged rim, the nose is captivating — ripe black olive, violet blossom, blackberry, and smoked meat, with underlying hints of black pepper and garrigue. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with supple tannins, concentrated dark fruit, and a long, spice-driven finish characteristic of classic Rhône Syrah.
