Schild Estate GMS
Schild Estate GMS is a bold, richly flavored Grenache-Mourvèdre-Shiraz blend from Schild Estate, a family-owned winery proudly rooted in the legendary Barossa Valley of South Australia. The GMS style is a Southern Rhône-inspired blend that thrives in Barossa's warm, continental climate, producing wines of remarkable depth, spice, and fruit concentration.
Deep crimson-purple in color, Schild Estate GMS opens with an inviting nose of ripe red cherry, plum, blood orange, and warm Provençal herbs (garrigue), layered with dark spice and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly textured, with the characteristic plushness of Grenache, the earthy complexity of Mourvèdre, and the dark fruit intensity of Barossa Shiraz — all culminating in a long, warming, spice-driven finish.
Ideal with slow-roasted lamb, Mediterranean mezze, beef stew, and aged hard cheeses.
